Montage brings Luxury to Big Sky Country
New & Noteable
The highly anticipated Montage Big Sky is set to open this December and we’re so excited to book clients into this new year-round gem for winter skiing, spring break, summer adventures and beyond. Set on 3,530 acres of natural mountainous beauty at the base of the Spanish Peaks, just 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, the all-new Montana luxury resort promises elegant dining, a 10,000-square-foot spa, oversized residences and the luxury hospitality that guests have come to expect from Montage, but have heretofore not been able to experience in Big Sky country.
Accommodations
Home to 150 specially designed guestrooms and suites, as well as 39 residences, the décor promises to be timeless, with details including locally sourced woods and stones and sweeping views of the surroundings. Residences range from 2 to 6 bedrooms and offer private balconies from which to enjoy the stunning views. Kitchens, fireplaces, and soaking tubs (a must after a day of exploring or ski) are also standard.
Activities
On top of ski-in/ski-out access to the Big Sky Resort, there are also 3 world-class fly-fishing rivers, a private 18-hole golf course (designed by none other than Tom Weiskopf, American pro-golfer, and golf-course architect), and the 10,000-square-foot Spa Montage. The spa features an indoor pool, 12 treatment rooms (including 2 couple’s rooms), heated plunge pools, and steam rooms. There is also an extensively equipped fitness room that offers fitness classes. Skiing & Snowboarding are unparalleled ways of exploring Lone Mountain, but for guests wishing to explore in other ways there is ample opportunity. Mountain biking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing are examples of other activities, and there is also tubing and ice-skating available. It is a great resort for families too and caters to their adventure needs.
Dining
The elegant mountain-inspired dining is shaped by Montana’s rich agricultural heritage and wild game presence. Local ingredients are utilized across several culinary settings and genres within the seven dining destinations. Cortina is the signature restaurant and offers traditional Northern Italian cuisine in an elegant, warm setting with an open-hearth wood-fire oven and fresh handmade pasta. Alpenglow is set in the lobby and welcomes guests with craft cocktails, beer, and Pacific-inspired snacks. With large fireplaces, live piano music, and large windows providing views of the mountains, guests will feel warmly welcomed. The Living Room offers high tea and après ski, the Wildflower Market is a cute bakery/café/marketplace, while the Backcast Bar & Grill offers up classic barbeque and smokehouse favorites, and the Beartooth Pub and Grill offers bowling, darts and arcade games aside pizza and classic pub fare.
Lily Pond Luxury clients will receive breakfast daily, a $100 resort credit, and further upgrades if available. Special promos are available for pre-opening, so do not miss out on early booking for the best rates!
