About JENNY

Jenny was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA and now calls Washington, DC her home. She developed a love for travel during her undergraduate studies at Colby College in Maine, which encouraged opportunities to study abroad. During her undergraduate and subsequent graduate studies at the University of Virginia, she traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Ecuador, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Kenya.  

After graduation, Jenny traveled with her husband to be, Jeremiah, to live in Crested Butte, CO and then to Charleston, SC. In Charleston, Jenny’s husband’s cooking career grew and in 2013, after marrying, they moved to Washington, DC to open their first restaurant. The Dabney opened in 2015, then in 2017 they opened The Dabney Cellar, and in 2023, Petite Cerise. 

Jenny has embraced the world of food and hospitality, helping to design and curate the concepts and interiors of the restaurants. Much of the inspiration for these projects came from her and her husband’s extensive travel to restaurants and hotels around the US and Europe. After planning and executing business and personal travel for the restaurants for the past twelve years, Jenny is excited to be able to share her travel experience and knowledge of luxury hotel properties and Michelin-star restaurants with her clients.
